Becoming a volunteer is a way of using our diverse strengths, talents and giftings, to confront poverty. Volunteering for Links could involve joining us on an overseas trip, providing training, assisting us with our magazine mail-out, or helping out at events. You have the potential to change lives. We were created to make a difference.

Our volunteers are the life blood of Links International. We would not be able to touch the thousands of lives around the world without the faithful support of our volunteers.

Having retired a number of years ago and overseas travel no longer being as easy as in the past for me, it has been such a blessing to be able to serve Links back home. Whether it's being part of the Links mail out to raising awareness of the great work Links does, it's wonderful to know that we all have a part to play!

Why volunteer?

Never before has there been a time like this when we can impact the nations by joining together our efforts at home, with partners bringing transformation around the world. When you volunteer you:

What volunteering involves

Over the years in Links International we have had people volunteer in all kinds of different ways from:

• Helping with mail outs
• Advancing campaigns and appeals
• Working with us at events and conferences
• Helping to create resources and training materials
• Becoming Links Ambassadors within the networks of churches that we work into
• Joining teams
• Travelling out to work with partners on a longer term basis
• Fundraising

Whether your heart is to travel and be hands on, or to work behind the scenes, we fully believe that everyone has unique gifts to bring to the table. We are stronger together and can achieve great things when we all join hands in the battle against poverty.
