As we bring our Ruby Appeal to a close, we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you. Over these past months, so many of you have prayed, given, shared, and stood with us as we’ve celebrated 40 years of Links; 40 years of connecting people, confronting poverty and creating potential around the world!
Thanks to your generosity, we have now reached close to 50% of our target. That is no small milestone. Every gift, every new standing order, every act of kindness has helped us move closer to strengthening our global partnerships and stepping boldly into the next chapter God is leading us into.
Although the formal appeal is wrapping up, the door remains wide open for anyone who still feels prompted to give. Whether you’re an individual, a family, a church or a business, your support can help us bridge the remaining gap and fully resource the new ventures ahead. We are excited about what’s emerging; new opportunities, new partnerships and new ways to see lives changed and communities transformed.
What encourages us most is that this appeal ultimately is not about hitting a number. It is about people - real people in Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and here in the UK - whose lives are being shaped by hope, dignity and opportunity because of your generosity. Every single gift matters. Every standing order strengthens the foundation. Every act of support helps us continue the work that was begun 40 years ago and to carry it forward with faith, courage and compassion.
From all of us at Links: thank you for standing with us. The story continues, and we’re grateful to be writing the next chapter together!
