Every year, our Links UK headquarters transforms into a magical winter grotto - and this year was no exception! We opened our doors to the community for a joyful day filled with a Santa’s Grotto, Christmas crafts and activities, a buzzing raffle and a delicious cake sale. The air was full of excitement, laughter and the smell of freshly baked treats - the perfect recipe for festive fun!
We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. To those who came along, those who volunteered their time, everyone who baked cakes and donated raffle prizes, and of course, to Santa and his hardworking elves for squeezing us into their very busy schedule - we appreciate you all so much. Your support means the world to us.

Why Fundraising Matters
Events like this aren’t just about festive fun - they make a real impact. Every penny raised goes directly to supporting the work of Links, helping us continue confronting poverty and creating potential in communities around the world. Fundraising is a powerful way to bring people together to make a difference, and it enables life-changing projects to keep thriving.
At Links, we want everyone to feel part of the mission. Whatever you love - baking, running, crafting, hosting or something totally unique - there’s a fundraising opportunity for you. Your passion can help transform lives. Whether it’s organising a charity quiz, taking on a challenge event or holding your own cake sale, you can play a role in rewriting stories and opening doors for others.
Together, We Create Change
The Christmas Grotto is just one example of how community, creativity and generosity can spark lasting impact. Thank you for helping us continue the work - together, we are confronting poverty and creating potential across the globe.
Keep an eye out for future fundraising opportunities - or get in touch if you’d love to start something of your own.
From all of us at Links — thank you, and Merry Christmas! 🎄✨

Stepping into Ghana for the very first time felt like walking back into the roots of Links International’s story. It was here, over 40 years ago, that our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first connected with inspiring missionaries and began building the partnerships that would shape Links’ mission.

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
