Hosting at the Hub

June 1, 2026

Hospitality and Connection at the Africa Hub
For over two years we have been building up the hospitality side of the Links Africa Hub. The team is growing in experience and now offers community groups and leaders more options to meet, train, and network. The hub can comfortably host over 12 people and provides a range of conference facilities.
Welcoming New Partners
In May, we hosted the CRED Foundation partners for their first full in‑person conference. Organised by Helen Harrison, partners came from Asia, Europe, and across Africa to share their activities, learn together, and enjoy fellowship in the peaceful environment of our hub. The gift of rest and refreshment this place offers cannot be understated. We want the hub to continue carrying a legacy of "peace-making" - whether it be between people and within those who visit.
Training and Reflection

Sam Walker
, our Africa Region Director, shared sessions on using AI in community development and on character development in leadership. The AI discussions were interactive, with attendees sharing own experiences and ideas with using the technology. AI advancing rapidly and it is key that communities and organisations do not get left behind, as well as feeling the benefit of it. The leadership sessions encouraged reflection on humility, vulnerability, and avoiding burnout, reminding leaders to grow personally as they guide others and their communities.

Our Links' partner Moses Njobvu, Abundant Life Center, was also in Kenya during this period and was able to come and visit and share with the CRED organisations the great community work their area doing, especially in supporting vulnerable children and in the complex area of mental health and well-being.
Looking Ahead
With more visitors and groups lined up for 2026, we look forward to hosting many more. As one guest described, this is a “ministry of hospitality that brings healing, rest, and God’s love to all.”
