All About Act4You

Since those early years when our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first travelled to Ghana, West Africa and saw how much could be achieved by connecting churches, businesses and individuals with missionaries, ministries and organisations around the majority world, to today where Links works into over 40 nations through our extended Links Family, Act4you continues to grow and thrive, impacting lives and communities around the world!

Alongside Act4You being an integral expression of Links’ vision of being ‘in it together’ to ‘connect people, confront poverty and create potential’, we are essentially able to provide an immediate, highly cost-effective solution to anyone with a vision to make a difference through projects or initiatives working to alleviate poverty and impact communities, without all of the hassle, cost and regulation of setting up and running a charity of their own.

Through Act4You Links will:

- Collect all your donations – through online payments, cash or cheques.
- Administer Gift Aid where applicable (UK only)and pay it into your account.
- Supply a quarterly account showing every penny that has come in and gone out under your instruction.
- Handle all end-of-year accounting and auditing and report to the Charity Commission as necessary.
- Be responsible, on your behalf, for all annual reports, meetings, trustees, policies, procedures and governance, leaving you free to concentrate solely on the project.
- Provide, as and when required, project consultancy services or team and trip administration, offering our years of expertise and advice.

 A small fee is charged to each account to cover our overhead expenses, so no catches or surprises!

It has been one of our greatest joys as an organisation and movement to be able to partner in this way with so many and, through our combined efforts, to see amazing work realised around the world!
