Recently our partners Comunidad Mosaic travelled to Tierra Grata in Colombia to input into the community. With the support of Links, a fledgling new church plant has begun. Many of you may remember that at the end of 2024 our CEO Joe led a team from Arun Church here to carry out a youth retreat where God moved powerfully touching the lives of the young people.
Hermes, the Pastor of Comunidad Mosaic writes:
We travelled from Bogotá to Tierra Grata with the purpose of continuing to organise the start-up of the church in that region and looking at ways to strengthen our ongoing connection and communication with them. Links and Arun Church have kindly supported us financially, enabling us to purchase a projector, laptop, speaker, screen to project onto camera, and the stet up costs for satellite internet, as there are no other internet options in this area.
During the three weeks my wife and I spent with the community, we were able to carry out discipleship sessions, mostly with young people, which had a great impact on all who attended.
Diplomas and Bibles were also given to those who had made progress in the discipleship course.
We were able to hold four services, including a virtual one to see how the live satellite connection with the main Mosaic church in Bogota would work and how it would be received. All who attended were really pleased with the results!
We were also able to visit families in the area with the purpose of accompanying them and encouraging them to continue moving forward in their relationship with the Lord and in their congregation. Four of the young people we have been working with and one of the adults have been left in charge of logistics and organizing the days of worship, opening and closing the services, preparing the meeting place for worship, alongside the various administrative tasks such as cleaning the chairs, looking after the lights, air conditioning, internet connection, and the equipment etc.
We plan to have services with the community every two weeks where they will connect with our main Saturday evening meetings and hope eventually to also stream our Sunday morning services to the community. The plan is also to accompany them in person quarterly with a team of members from the church.
We are excited to see this ministry develop and ask for your prayers that they may remain seeking the Lord every day. We are deeply grateful to Links and Arun Church for all the support with this task for the young people of Tierra Grata and Carranzo that the Lord has placed in our hearts!
Thank you for joining with us in Links to see churches planted in communities like this, where lives are being impacted and God’s Kingdom is bringing transformation.

Stepping into Ghana for the very first time felt like walking back into the roots of Links International’s story. It was here, over 40 years ago, that our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first connected with inspiring missionaries and began building the partnerships that would shape Links’ mission.

South Sudan is the world’s newest country, having gained independence from Sudan in 2011. Unfortunately, despite abundant natural resources, it is also the world’s poorest country. Here is an update from our amazing Act4You project, Supporting Child Health in South Sudan.

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
