It is always such an inspiring experience being in London for the Marathon, and this year was no exception!
At Links, we are beyond grateful to all of the amazing runners participating an raising funds for us - for the hard work, sacrifice and effort they have put in. Together we are changing lives and transforming communities!
Joining the masses cheering everyone on, we couldn't help thinking how great it would be if we all lived with this same attitude. What could happen if we consistently lived encouraging and spurring one another on to step into all God has called us to? What amazing things could we endure, persevere and inspire one another to acheive with our words and actions?
The writer to the Hebrews, following his praise of the great heroes of the faith, went on to say:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1-2)
The truth is we really do have all of Heaven cheering us on, so let's run with all we have and join that cloud of witnesses to cheer on all those around us.

In a rural corner of South Asia, where disability often means isolation, shame or exclusion, a rare and radiant gathering recently took place.
