One of the key themes within Links’ ethos has always been in the area of pioneering and taking new territory, both through innovative projects and solutions to alleviate poverty, to the actual physical planting of local churches in new territories as the vehicle to extend God’s Kingdom.
Recently Joe our CEO and Sam our Africa Region Director were able to visit various partners in Colombia, one of which being our good friends at Comunidad Mosaic. Mosaic is the church that Joe, together with his wife Carolina, had the privilege starting in Bogota Colombia in 2010. During the visit they were able to share in a various meetings, seeing God move and encourage people greatly. Hermes and Diagne, who now pastor the church have recently made some significant changes, taking the step of faith to work full time, both to see the main church thrive and to also dedicate time to new projects such as a church plant in the northern region of Colombia in a place called Tierra Grata.

Tierra Grata is a very needy rural area, with little electricity or internet access. Before involvement from Mosaic there were no churches in the area. Links is looking to work alongside Mosaic as we move forward in the areas of Leadership Development, Micro-Enterprise and Community Healthcare.
It is so exciting to hear the way in which the embryonic church plant continues to grow, as a campus of Mosaic. They now have a small core team and are looking into ways to both stream services and provide interactive training opportunities. Alongside this work, Mosaic have also partnered with a US christian charity called Helios, which provides solar powered radio devices, loaded with approximately 200 audio discipleship training lessons and a number of audio Bible translations. These devices will be hugely beneficial in a rural zone like Tierra Grata, where they have little to know access to either electricity or internet.
Thank you so much for joining with us in Links as we stand alongside amazing partners like Comunidad Mosaic in the life changing, community transforming work that they do! Your prayers and giving really does mean that new territory is being taken for the Kingdom of God.

Stepping into Ghana for the very first time felt like walking back into the roots of Links International’s story. It was here, over 40 years ago, that our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first connected with inspiring missionaries and began building the partnerships that would shape Links’ mission.

South Sudan is the world’s newest country, having gained independence from Sudan in 2011. Unfortunately, despite abundant natural resources, it is also the world’s poorest country. Here is an update from our amazing Act4You project, Supporting Child Health in South Sudan.

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
