The Links Africa Hub in Kenya is coming up to its first year under the direction of Links, after transitioning the site from our partner Peacemakers. Sam Walker, Africa Region Director, outlines some of the transition and growth we are already seeing:
"One of the great things about our planned transition of the site and activities from Peacemakers to Links has been the staff and team. We have been blessed to have most of the original Peacemakers team with us working on the administrative aspects of the transition, the day-to-day work on maintaining the site and community buildings, the development of our hospitality activities, and the work of the leased agricultural land attached to the site. These individuals have a heart for the surrounding community and the vision of the Links site to become a place of excellence. With a third of the team having some physical, hearing or cognitive impairment, they are also a great example to the community and other partners of effective inclusion and diverse teamwork. As we round off this year of transition we are believing, as more resources are released, that we will continue to see this team grow in their individual skills and their wider impact."
If you would like to support the growth of our Links Africa team of World Changers do set up a standing order with us or give directly to our Links Africa Hub Impact Appeal.
Thank you for being in it together with our team, as they transition and grow to impact their world and beyond!

Stepping into Ghana for the very first time felt like walking back into the roots of Links International’s story. It was here, over 40 years ago, that our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first connected with inspiring missionaries and began building the partnerships that would shape Links’ mission.

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
