Sam Walker, our Africa Region Coordinator, had the privilege of attending and representing Links at the East Africa Pioneer International (PI) conference in Nairobi, Kenya. Given this opportunity by PI to present on Links' vision and mission to over 100 church leaders from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, we hope to see many new potential connections and partnerships with those in this region with people who are passionate and dedicated to see the Kingdom of God impact their communities both spiritually and practically.
The conference lasted for three days, and the theme was “Together for the Kingdom”. It was so encouraging to see the response from the delegates, to how to work together better in unity and maturity with the Good News of Jesus. They were eager to learn more about how Links could support their community development projects and ministries, through possible empowerment trainings, consultancy, and potential resourcing.
We are so grateful for this growing opportunity to partner with Pioneer International around the world with their network of churches and organisations. We believe that God is opening new doors for us to partner with more like-minded and like-Spirited people over East Africa and beyond! We are in it together!

Stepping into Ghana for the very first time felt like walking back into the roots of Links International’s story. It was here, over 40 years ago, that our founders Norman and Grace Barnes first connected with inspiring missionaries and began building the partnerships that would shape Links’ mission.

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
