Partnership in Action: Bunches & Links Facilitating Transformation

December 2, 2025

This November, we had the privilege of visiting the Links Africa Regional Hub in Kenya, our vibrant centre of innovation, community empowerment and sustainable development. Together with our friends Dan and Dani Turner from Bunches (www.bunches.com), long‑standing partners of Links International, we witnessed first‑hand how collaboration and creativity are transforming lives across the region.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was alive with possibility. The hub is more than a base - it is a catalyst for change. It is so inspiring to see how the facilities are equipping local communities through training programmes, agricultural innovation and hospitality services that support events and gatherings. Each initiative reflects the vision of Links International: to see lives changed and communities strengthened through practical, sustainable solutions.

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting Joy, the very first milk cow at the hub. Joy produces around 27 litres of milk daily, with 80% sold to the surrounding community to generate income and the remaining 20% nourishing staff and visitors. This simple yet powerful project embodies the principle of sustainability: creating resources that both support the hub’s core costs and bless the local community.

We are deeply grateful to Bunches, whose generosity made Joy’s purchase and the milking equipment possible. Their commitment to “making a difference” is not just a slogan but a lived reality, as seen in their partnership with Links International across multiple nations. Joy is just the beginning - the vision is to expand to five cows, multiplying both provision and impact.

We also had the great opportunity of visiting Sangari Farm to learn from their years of experience. From organic farming practices to livestock care, every area is infused with innovation and sustainability. It is a living classroom, demonstrating how communities can lead with creativity, care and eco‑friendly solutions. The future of farming here is bright and the lessons learned are already shaping the wider work of Links Africa.

As we left the hub, we carried with us a renewed sense of hope. This centre is not only transforming Kenya but is serving as a model for community development across Africa. With partners like Bunches and the dedication of the Links team, the vision of sustainable, life‑changing impact is becoming a reality.

Together, we really are seeing lives changed and communities transformed!

Moringa – The Gift That Keeps Giving!

April 1, 2026

In Malawi over a decade ago, in a small rural community, Links took a chance on what many thought was just a fad - moringa trees, sensationalised at the time as 'Miracle Trees'. Packed with vitamins and minerals, edible for both humans and livestock, fast‑growing and hardy in hot climates, these trees seemed to have real potential.
